This one is new to me, Ian. Shocked Not that I could possibly know all the plants there are, but I haven't ever heard of this, let alone recognise it. I googled to find out more & see it's listed as a member of the Amaryllis family. What species is your haemanthus or do you know? In images, there are a number of white ones with bright yellow stamens.

When did you plant this & do you have other haemanthus too? While the flower is very nice, could you post another photo to show what the entire plant looks like too, please? Applause

I wanted to tell you I appreciate the photos of all your different fruits on Photo Bucket as I use them to show friends what some of the diff fruits available in diff parts of the world are. My good friend from Cambodia, Navi, loves tropical fruit & your photos have enabled me to find the English & botanical names of the fruits she's described to me. Razz Thank you for them.

Hi Ianr, my Haemanthus albiflos didn't flowered yet, but it is very nice to see yours. I've got him two years ago, but he has only fat leaves...

Don't worry ours has taken abour 5 years to flower.
It's still very small and the photo was better than it actually looks.
