As previously announced, the submission days for our "Think green" photo contest have finished on 20th November.
You can see all the entries in Think green gallery > HERE
You can enlarge each picture by clicking on it.
In this topic you can place your votes. Each member can place votes on 5 entries and rank them on a 1-5 points scale.
Example:
Picture Nr. -- = 1 point
Picture Nr.-- = 2 points
Picture Nr. -- = 3 points
Picture Nr. -- = 4 points
Picture Nr. -- = 5 points.
Each mark (grade) should only be used once.
If you've got any additional questions about voting you can post them in this topic as well.

Very nice pictures, people.
My points go to:
picture 14 - 1 point (it looks wonderfully natural)
picture 10 - 2 points (there is no green color, but I like it)
picture 16 - 3 points (it is an art)
picture 03 - 4 point (brrrr, it's cold, but I like it)
PICTURE 09 - 5 points
I can feel a breeze, smell fragrance in the air, hear crickets singing and see love in that photo. Excellent!

First of all, it's incredibly hard to narrow the choices down & every one's photos are so nice. I'm almost glad I didn't enter as I don't have much interesting to show. Yes, we've still had wet dreary weather more often than not. I'm trying to choose, not just on how nice the photo looks but on composition, layout & pattern, & visual clarity. So no insults meant if some one's photo is not among those I pick. And like Leroy, I'm no expert on photography either!
#15 (5 points)
#16 (4 points)
#8 (3 points)
#3 (2 points)
#9 (1 points)

This is fun, isn't it?! I guess most aren't as enamoured over #15 as I am (except for bea06125). I was rather blown away by the composition, patterning, & then, that small incongruous bit of new frond growing upwards to break the pattern a little & add interest. But that's me - I'm enchanted by the mathematical patterns I see in nature. I also agree with Jekka & Slad that #16 is art & worthy of being framed. I hope we find out after voting who took these marvellous photos as I truly believe all are works of art. Really, I wish there was a way of voting each one 5 points!!
While I sure don't like the cloudy, cold wetness that is our winters, I'm enchanted with the fractal patterns of bare trees. One day, I'd like to gather all sorts of photos of diff bare branched trees & form a basis for judging what a tree might be just by looking at its shape, form, & branching without leaves.
