Does this look normal? I got this Fiscus microcarpa in February 08. It did not have a ton of leaves when I got it, but it had more than this... Many leaves fell off in March, but it has been holding steady with SPARSE growth for about 2 months? I water or mist it daily depending on what the soil feels like. The environment in my condo is stable, dry (~30% humidity) and 70 degrees. Will this ever grow - or is this sound like my tree is dying? The leaves look kind of yellow in the picture, but they really are quite green.

Hello,
When working with a Bonsai, take care to check for infestation of red spider mites; they are a common pest of this species. To check for infestation, look for yellow foliage. The next sign to be aware of is the presence of small spots underneath branches of your Bonsai. If you think there is a spot, place a white piece of paper directly under the branch, and carefully tap on
it. If they are present, a few should land on the piece of paper and move.
Commercial insecticide is effective in ridding your tree of these harmful bugs. After the insecticide has been on your Bonsai for a full day, you should spray the foliage with water, though not in direct sun or heat. Another solution can be prepared at home by soaking tobacco in water overnight and spraying on the tree. The commercial insecticide works well, with no adverse side effects, so there is no real reason to try the home remedy.
If you to want to get more information about the respective or any other topic you can visit bonsaioutlet.com site. I have referred the sites to too many friends and they are highly satisfied with the service level of that company.
Thanks...!
