hey everyone! i have bought a potted rose from ikea recently. i need a few tips/guidance on how to take good care of it. im new with roses so i really need help on this. i have read on articles that rose have to be feed and water on regular basic. but i have no idea how. can any kind soul help me??...thanks, your help is appreciated!

Hi Xylon,

Roses like regular watering especially during hot weather. If you grow it in the pot, make sure you water it until the water drains through the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot.

Remove as much soil as possible from the top of the pot and sprinkle one handful of bonemeal around and over the roots.

Once a month give your rose 2-3 tablespoons of Epsom Salt. Dissolve the Epsom Salt in a cup with hot water and add it to your watering can. Bring the water in the watering can to lukewarm by adding cold water. Now water the rose with this solution until it drains from the bottom of the pot.

Roses like to be exposed to full sunshine.
